License key is required to activate your theme, receive automatic updates, and access premium support. Depending on where you purchased your theme, the steps to retrieve your license key will differ.
We sell our themes on three platforms:
- AwaikenThemes.com (our official store)
- ThemeForest.net (Envato Marketplace)
- TemplateMonster.com
Follow the instructions below for the platform you purchased from.
Option 1: Purchased from AwaikenThemes.com #
Our official store is powered by Easy Digital Downloads (EDD). After completing your purchase, your license key is available in three places:
Method 1: Purchase Confirmation Page #
Immediately after checkout, you will land on a purchase confirmation page. Your license key is displayed directly on this page. We recommend copying it and saving it somewhere safe.
Method 2: Purchase Receipt Email #
A purchase receipt email is automatically sent to the email address you used at checkout. This email contains your license key. Search your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from awaikenthemes.com.
Method 3: Your Account Dashboard #
- Go to awaikenthemes.com and log in to your account.
- Navigate to My Account → Orders.
- Locate your theme order and click on it to View Licenses.
- Your license key will be listed under the order, along with its activation status and expiry date.
Note: You must be logged in with the same account used during purchase. If you checked out as a guest, check your purchase receipt email instead.
Option 2: Purchased from ThemeForest (Envato) #
On ThemeForest, the license key is called a Purchase Code (or Item Purchase Code). Here’s how to find it:
- Go to themeforest.net and log in to your Envato account.
- Hover over your username/avatar at the top right of the screen.
- Click Downloads from the dropdown menu.
- Find the theme you purchased in the list.
- Click the Download button next to that item.
- From the dropdown that appears, select one of the following:
- License Certificate & Purchase Code (PDF) — opens or downloads a PDF file
- License Certificate & Purchase Code (Text) — downloads a plain
.txtfile
- Open the file. Scroll to the bottom to find the Item Purchase Code — this is your license key. It is a string of letters and numbers separated by hyphens.
Copy this code and paste it into the license activation field in your WordPress dashboard when prompted.
Tip: Both the PDF and TXT versions contain the same purchase code — choose whichever is easier for you to open.
Option 3: Purchased from TemplateMonster #
TemplateMonster issues a unique Purchase Code for each product sold on their marketplace. This code is automatically generated at the time of purchase and is tied to your License Certificate.
Finding Your Purchase Code #
- Go to account.templatemonster.com and log in to your TemplateMonster account.
- If this was your first purchase and you did not already have an account, one was created automatically for you using your purchase email address.
- Navigate to the Downloads section: account.templatemonster.com/#/downloads
- Locate the AwaikenThemes product you purchased.
- Click on the product to open your Template Delivery Page.
- Your License Key / Purchase Code will be displayed on this page.
Copy the license key and enter it in the license activation field within your WordPress dashboard.
Note: If you cannot find your download link, navigate to My Account → Downloads and click the Restore link button (available for orders placed within the last year). If you still have issues, contact TemplateMonster’s billing support with your order number and purchase email.
What to Do with Your License Key #
Once you have your license key, here’s how to activate it:
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to [Theme Name] → Theme License or look for a License tab in the theme settings panel.
- Paste your license key into the License Key field.
- Click Save Changes.
After successful activation, you will receive automatic theme updates and be eligible for support.
Frequently Asked Questions #
What if I can’t find my license key email? Check your spam or junk folder. If you still can’t find it, log in to your account on the marketplace where you purchased the theme and retrieve it from your order history as described above.
Can I use the same license key on multiple websites? This depends on the license type you purchased. Please refer to the specific license terms on the marketplace where you bought the theme.
My license key says it has reached its activation limit. What do I do? You may need to deactivate the license from a site you no longer use, or contact our support team for assistance.
